How many people can Metzger Gardens Wedding & Event Venue accommodate?
We can accommodate up to 300 guests.
Do you allow smoking on your premises?
Smoking is not permitted inside the building; however areas are provided outside for our guests.
Do you allow alcohol at events?
Yes, we provide in-house licensed & insured bartending services.
What is the cost to rent the Wedding Barn or Reception Party Room or Bridal Suites at Metzger Gardens Wedding & Event Venue?
The cost varies upon the type of rental and what additional services are added.
The base cost of the Wedding Barn is $1000. The wedding barn rental includes use of the courtyard garden, church pew seating and wedding arbor of the bride’s choice. The Wedding Barn offers 20 vintage pews, twinkle lieghts & elegant ceiling drape.
Wedding Barn Capacity: 300
Weekend Wedding Packages starting at only $4,000 includes: the wedding barn & party room for reception, up to 300 guests. Add $500 for the bridal suites.
Reception Party Room Capacity: 300
Reception/ Party Room Rental: For FULL-DAY events, 5+ hours (weddings, reunions, etc.), the base fee is $3000 for the entire reception party room. This price includes *tables and chairs, the warming kitchen, restrooms, and dance floor area. 100-300 guests. Use of the recpetion room rental is 8 a.m-midnight.
Micro Events: 1/2 Day & 1/2 Party Room Rentals:
Half-room rental for smaller events 5 hours or less events using HALF of the Party Room (baby/bridal showers, graduation parties, birthday parties, etc.) up to 100 guests (*tables & chairs included, warming kitchen, restrooms & powerpoint projector) for $350.
Full-room rentals for events 5 hours or less using the ENTIRE party room (business meetings, auctions, trade shows, large reunions) over 100 guests (*tables & chairs included, warming kitchen, restrooms & powerpoint projector) for $550
Are tables and chairs included in the rental?
Yes! The Gardens Venue Party Room offers 228 banquet-style chairs, (20) six-foot rectangle tables, and (3) eight-foot food serving tables available for use by the renter. (Round tables are an upgrade and are available for a rental fee.) Any additional needed chairs/tables and table linens can be rented at our preferred local vendor Manchester Rental.
Are Bridal Suites Available?
Yes! The Bridal Suites are a new addition to the venue and can be rented for the day of the wedding for your getting-ready needs($500 for the day and both suites are included). The Bride’s Suite includes a kitchenette, 3 make-up/hair stations, a changing room and a comfortable living room area to relax. The Groom’s Den includes a kitchenette, comfortable living room area and game/pool table as well as an outdoor patio area to relax, play cards and enjoy the view of the woods.

How do I reserve my date?
Call or stop into our office during regular business hours. For a partial-day rental, $100.00 and a signed rental agreement will hold your date. For a full-day event rental, a 50% down payment and a signed rental agreement will hold your event date.
